One World, Real Love
February
14 is considered as the celebration of love or termed as “Valentine’s Day”. We celebrate and express our affection with
greetings and gifts to each other.
Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine is celebrated
annually on February 14. It originated as a Christian feast day honoring one or
two early Christian martyrs named Saint Valentine. It is an occasion in which
couples expressed their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering
confectionery, and sending greeting cards. Before Valentine's Day, decorations
like a red heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid are
seen all around the world. All promos and discounts are present in restaurants,
resorts, and other establishments. People around the world would most likely experience
joy or genuine happiness.
Being in a pandemic really did change everything that we got used to. Only a limited number of people can go out and have fun. We need to follow protocols and
restrictions to be safe. Even if few can go out or even can’t go home that
doesn’t stop the spirit of Valentine’s Day. There are lots of alternatives to
express love for the choice of yours. If you’re working outside the country
have someone to be in charge of surprising your loved ones. You can do online
video calls and other stuff. Celebrate inside your home, you can cook or order food
online so it can be safer.
Always prioritize your health despite everything. Don’t forget to celebrate the love for yourself. Aside from humans also love animals and plants. Let us not show fake and toxic love to each other. In this world we depend on each other, we are united because of love or affection. We have one world and one thing, it is to show nothing but real love.
