                  To appear and share treasures with the full world, the local people of Ilocos Sur conceived a celebration that highlights these social conventions and they called it the “Kannadiwan Festival”. It may be a celebration that endures from the last week of January up to the primary week of February.                                  Back when we don’t have Covid-19, Kannawidan Festival is usually celebrated with lots of people. On the opening day of the festival, a traditional ritual is performed by the students of the Ilocos Sur, especially high school students.
